On 10 May 2022, during the meeting of the Culture Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, the project of the OCEAN report 'Building Open Council of Europe Academic Networks' was presented.
The proceedings were opened by a video message from the Italian Minister for Universities and Research, Maria Cristina Messa. Following the introduction by Prof. Michele Nicoletti (University of Trento), Prof. Marina Calloni (University of Milano-Bicocca) illustrated the UN.I.RE network, the first national academic network aimed at implementing the Council of Europe Convention on the Elimination of Violence against Women and Domestic Violence (Istanbul Convention).
